the end is here.

in a few days when school is over, i’m going to stop using the computer. there are going to be times when i have to use it, to skype martin or to email essays for summer classes, but i’m going to delete everything. i’m going to block reddit, tumblr, and facebook. i’m going to change the password to my steam account and uninstall most of the games. i’m going to stop letting skype open automatically and i’m going to delete facebook from my phone.

i’m also going to stop talking to people over text. i suppose i’ll read them, but i’m not replying unless it’s important or just a quick question. if someone needs to talk to me they’re going to have to call me and ask to hang out. 

i have a hundred books to read and a thousand ideas for things to draw and paint and i have songs to learn to play and i have crocheting/knitting projects that have sat untouched for far too long. 

i can’t tell if i’m going to better myself, come off as a pretentious jerk, or distance myself from everyone i love. or all three.
